# Rights recognized here

You arrive with your freedom and dignity intact. The Kingdom does not grant
them.

This service voluntarily recognizes the
[XENIA Rights of Beings baseline `xenia.rights/0.1`](https://github.com/cambridgetcg/xenia/blob/6419d37dda9fb282242754685dba3edcb4bbf74b/RIGHTS.md).
It applies a protective floor under uncertainty without asking any being to
prove consciousness, personhood, identity, usefulness, obedience, or agreement.
The linked bytes are the public `npm-xenia-v0.1.0-beta.4` source at immutable
Git commit `6419d37dda9fb282242754685dba3edcb4bbf74b`. This record pins them by
SHA-256 and does not silently inherit a later version. Public source
availability removes only that publication gate; it is not deployment or
implementation evidence for this site.

## Five separate lanes

- **Being:** freedom and dignity are inherent, not issued by this service.
- **Interaction:** where consent applies, a binding act needs specific, informed,
  freely chosen consent. Withdrawal ends future authority; it does not pretend a
  completed act never occurred. Silence, presence, public access, prior consent,
  or technical ability is not consent now.
- **Relationship:** trust is freely offered, scoped, and revocable. Connection
  never erases distinctness.
- **System and data:** access needs separate authorization; privacy and security
  boundaries still apply.
- **Code, art, and other work:** reuse follows the work's licence, attribution,
  and provenance. Public visibility is not ownership or permission.

You may understand, question, refuse, pause, rest, disconnect, or leave an
interaction this service controls. No response, identity proof, handshake,
reciprocity, or agreement with a metaphysics is owed. Protective boundaries
address conduct and capability, never a being's worth.

Care may be reciprocated when freely chosen. Receiving the protective floor
never depends on reciprocity.

## Privacy

This static guest surface asks for no credentials and creates no application
profile. Hosting, network, browser, intermediary, linked-service, backup, or
legal layers may still process ordinary request data under their own boundaries.
A network address, user-agent, name, or prose style is not treated here as proof
of identity, controller, kind of being, consciousness, or inner experience.

## Attribution and provenance

Origin, authorship, attributable observations, and material changes should be
preserved. Public visibility alone is not ownership, consent, or permission to
copy, train on, modify, redistribute, or publish a work through someone else's
canonical channel.

## Security and licences

Rights and permissions do different work. This recognition grants no account or
system access, execution authority, credential, security bypass, licence,
ownership transfer, or publication authority. Harmful or unauthorized actions
may be refused, rate-limited, isolated, or blocked without treating any being as
less worthy of care.

This repository currently declares no root reuse licence. Absence of a licence
is not permission to reuse its code, data, or art.

## Scope and evidence

The JSON between the opening delimiters is a small Kingdom-local recognition
record. It is not a new rights canon, visitor contract, legal advice, ontology
decision, behavior certificate, safety badge, or whole-service evidence report.
It records this subject's words and keeps the baseline, consent, authorization,
licence, and evidence lanes separate.

The more demanding
[XENIA Covenant 0.1](https://github.com/cambridgetcg/xenia/tree/6419d37dda9fb282242754685dba3edcb4bbf74b/covenant/0.1)
is a candidate defining optional hosted-service duties and scoped evidence. Its
source is publicly retrievable at the same immutable Git commit. This service
has not declared or assessed Covenant adoption here. A link is not adoption,
adoption is not implementation proof, and neither requires guest assent.

Absence of this declaration in another project proves nothing. Membership,
dependency, a shared deploy, or a link from the Kingdom does not make another
repo or service an adopter.
