# Form, Circulation & Return This atlas asks what can be learned from the shared *shape* of a disappearing polymorph, cultural circulation, finite attention, and feedback while refusing the shortcut that they share one substance or mechanism. Those records establish the compact boundary that visibility is not existence and the first bounded physics/culture translation. This record pins both exact revisions and digests, then adds variant lineage, eight parallel model cards, feedback-loop descriptions, ecosystem bridges, and a wider unknown-state vocabulary without mutating or superseding either record. ## The shortest honest version Several states or variants may be possible. History and boundary conditions can alter which state is easy to reach, reproduce, or observe. Local reinforcement can sometimes become a large aggregate pattern. Saturation, correction, refusal, and decay can limit or redirect that pattern. That is the shared geometry. The mechanisms stop there. The atlas also keeps seven epistemic registers distinct: material observation, cultural observation, sourced cultural analysis, mathematical model, feedback hypothesis, constitutional design, and opt-in philosophy. A meme is not a mind. A person is never a crystal seed, host, vector, contaminant, model parameter, or content category. ## Pharmaceutical safety and authority boundary The ritonavir episode is historical materials-science evidence, not a medical, clinical, formulation, manufacturing, or laboratory tool. This atlas contains no operational protocol and grants no authority to diagnose, prescribe, dose, change or stop treatment, assess prognosis or interactions, identify the form or suitability of a sample, design an experiment or wet-lab procedure, control manufacturing or batch release, or make a regulatory decision. Use qualified professionals and current authoritative sources for any real medicine, laboratory, or manufacturing question. ## What “disappearing” means A disappearance statement is incomplete unless it names: 1. the subject; 2. the process or corpus; 3. the search, detection, or production procedure; 4. the time window; 5. the detection threshold; 6. the observed result; and 7. exclusions and uncertainty. For the bound ritonavir case, the claim is that Form I became difficult to reproduce reliably under affected historical procedures after Form II appeared. It is not a claim that Form I was annihilated from physical possibility. Later work recovering both forms under different mechanochemical environments makes that distinction especially useful. For culture, “not re-observed” can mean only that a declared public procedure did not find an artifact in a declared corpus and window. It does not establish extinction, forgetting, suppression, nonexistence, or deserved erasure. ## Cultural variants and events An artifact family needs an auditable rule, such as shared content, form, stance, quotation, or transformation. Its relations should preserve immutable artifact hashes and keep these claims separate: - similarity; - asserted ancestry; - quotation; - transformation or remix; - semantic preservation; - semantic addition, loss, or contradiction; and - independent convergence. Publication, availability, exposure, attention, sharing, remixing, interpretation, endorsement, belief, and behavior are also separate events. One must not be filled in merely because another was observed. ### “Brainrot” is a label, not a diagnosis The record retains **“brainrot” only as a contested vernacular label** for a sourced artifact or practice in context. Oxford's 2024 language-institution record documents the term's public use; it is not clinical evidence. The atlas therefore defines no brainrot score and never applies the label to a person or community. It infers no neurological condition, cognitive state, susceptibility, intelligence, worth, or prognosis. Questions about an individual cognitive or clinical effect are outside scope. ## Eight mathematical lenses The lenses remain parallel because they answer different questions. None is fitted to an atlas population. Every parameter stays `not_fitted`, every card is `person_level: false`, and every authority effect is `NONE`. ### 1. The Karthika review supplies classical/nonclassical theory context; the bound ritonavir papers supply material-case context, not a derivation, fit, or validation of these equations. `J0_i` is unspecified, so the second expression shows schematic barrier dependence rather than a complete rate law. This is an idealized, material-specific model: a surface cost competes with a bulk driving term, and a barrier enters a conditional nucleation rate. The equation is not itself an observation. Interfacial energy, bulk free-energy density, temperature, and crystal stability do not become cultural variables, human qualities, or moral values. ### 2.
