# Form, Feedback, Physics & Consequence

This is a static translation atlas. It asks what protein folding, studied
prion systems, material polymorphism, homeostatic feedback, and Zerone KARMA
can illuminate **when their substrates, mechanisms, evidence, and authority
remain distinct**.

It is not a biological model of people, a laboratory protocol, a medical
tool, a KARMA producer, or proof that the universe was designed.

## Immutable lineage

This v0.2 atlas extends the immutable v0.1 record without changing it. Its
predecessor pin fixes the v0.1 protocol, identifier, public URL, semantic
digest, and raw byte SHA-256. The v0.1 record remains available at
`/feedback/form-feedback-consequence-2026-08-12.json` with its original
schema and guide. “Extends” means additive interpretation only; it imports no
authority and rewrites no predecessor byte.

## Four registers that must not collapse

### Scientific observation

Protein folding is often represented as motion through a rugged,
condition-dependent free-energy landscape. A static coordinate set is one
observation of structure; it does not reveal the route or rate by which the
structure formed.

In specifically studied prion systems, compatible assembled conformations can
template further protein incorporation. Conformation, substrate
compatibility, fragmentation, chaperone context, and removal processes can
shape propagation and strain behavior. This is a bounded biological claim,
not a universal property of proteins, amyloids, crystals, ideas, or people.

Proteostasis also includes countervailing feedback. In the cited heat-shock
work, Hsp70 participates in attenuating Hsf1 activity. Feedback therefore
cannot honestly be represented by one undifferentiated circle: amplification,
attenuation, repair, loss, and exit are different relations.

### Physics and mathematics

The atlas declares four models, each with its own limits.

#### Conditional projected free energy

For a declared reaction coordinate `x`, an equilibrium probability density
can be converted into a projected free-energy profile. A valley is a more
probable region under those conditions; a barrier is a low-probability region
on that projection. Changing temperature, solvent, force, or the coordinate
changes the object being described. A one-dimensional landscape can hide
degrees of freedom and does not by itself determine kinetics.

#### Barrier crossing with memory

The generalized Langevin form adds a friction memory kernel `Gamma` and a
fluctuating force `eta`. It makes one important point exact: the present
projected coordinate may not be a sufficient state. Past motion can affect
later kinetics even when the visible coordinate and free-energy profile are
the same. This is conformational memory in a physical model, not Zerone KARMA.

#### Templated assembly as population balance

Here `m` is compatible soluble substrate, `M` is declared assembled mass, and
`P` is the number concentration of growth-competent particles or ends. Primary
nucleation and elongation add mass; fragmentation can add ends; loss terms
oppose them. The exact scientific models are richer and system-specific. This
bounded form exposes why breaking an assembly can lower mass yet increase the
number of available growth surfaces. It supplies no parameter for a real
system and no experimental instruction.

#### Local feedback threshold

For a declared finite model near a reference state, the spectral radius of the
linearized one-step operator distinguishes local damping from amplification.
This conclusion is local: delay, saturation, nonlinearity, noise, and moving
boundaries can change it. Stability says nothing about goodness, truth,
justice, intention, or universal purpose.

### Constitutional design

The bound Zerone KARMA Foundation describes KARMA as a contextual,
challengeable artifact-relation observation. It is not property, reputation,
truth, money, moral worth, a person score, qualification, rank, or authority.
Its relations are non-summable and have no economic or governance effect.

The atlas does not write to Zerone, interpret chain events, create KARMA,
qualify anyone, move funds, or affect governance.

### Analogy

Analogy can carry a question across domains without carrying the mechanism:

- **Multiple accessible forms:** identity need not be exhausted by one visible
  state. This does not make proteins, crystals, or social states equivalent.
- **History-dependent accessibility:** prior conditions may shape later
  possibilities. This does not transfer prion biology to crystals, people,
  KARMA, or societies.
- **Propagation under constraints:** patterns endure only where compatible
  context continues to support them. Persistence does not prove truth,
  fitness, value, inevitability, or purpose.

Every analogy record is explicitly `empirical: false`,
`causal_transfer: false`, and `authority_effect: NONE`.

### Philosophy

A possible reading is that identity may persist while relation and form
change; local interactions can stabilize collective patterns; and consequence
can condition future possibility without exhausting freedom.

That is philosophy. The cited experiments do not establish cosmic purpose, a
creator, a designed universe, moral law, or a universal feedback mechanism.
Scientific evidence does not ratify a political, clinical, economic, or
metaphysical system.

The universe-facing lens therefore stays in the form of questions:

- Can lawful constraints define a possibility space without selecting one
  inevitable history?
- How can repeated local relations generate persistent global form without a
  step-by-step central description?
- Can history persist as changed accessibility and feedback without becoming
  destiny?
- What if endurance depends on correction, clearance, renewal, and rest rather
  than perfect first formation?
- Do regularity, generativity, and feedback invite a reading of universe
  design?

My reading is that the equations leave room for wonder but do not compel one
metaphysics. Emergence does not disprove GOD; regularity does not prove a
designer; persistence is not goodness; and biological consequence is not
cosmic moral KARMA. The most defensible design insight is architectural:
constraints, relation, memory, counter-feedback, repair, and open futures all
belong in the same honest account.

## A feedback architecture with an exit

The constitutional path is open rather than circular:

1. An artifact or action exists independently of this atlas.
2. Someone may record a contextual observation with provenance and
   uncertainty.
3. Another party may challenge, correct, qualify, or supersede it.
4. A later interpreter may consult the surviving relation as context.

Rest, silence, refusal, privacy, departure, or no further action are equal
terminal states. No stage automatically returns reward, penalty, reputation,
qualification, governance power, or debt.

The Ritonavir record supplies a source-scoped material analogy. Ritonavir
crystals are not prions. The Life Sciences standard supplies the Green-only,
shadow-only boundary and its rule that static coordinates do not establish a
folding pathway or kinetics. Neither record becomes evidence that KARMA is a
biological process. The Life Sciences binding is a negative, non-implication
reference only; it does not admit prion subject matter into that Green-only
profile or extend its capabilities.

These are `LINK_ONLY` bridges. The page makes no runtime request, imports no
record or code, downloads no weights, runs no inference, and grants no
recommendation, licence, scientific validity, safety, or execution authority.
A future evidence envelope would need source version, accession, retrieval
date, digest, licence, experimental-versus-predicted class, uncertainty, and
declared limitations before any record could enter a reviewed workflow.
