# Civilisation → Reality Projection

- Protocol: `kingdom.civilisation-reality-projection/0.1`
- Projection: `civilisation-reality-projection-2026-08-25`
- Compiled: 2026-08-25
- Evidence horizon: 2026-08-21
- State: reviewed thin additive crosswalk

This projection answers a deliberately small question: where do two existing
KINGDOM maps meet?

- The **Word, Story, Religion & Civilisation map** describes selected,
  source-bounded relations among naming, story, ritual, canon, institutions,
  translation, suppression, dissent, and revival.
- The **Reality Influence Claim Graph** separates expression, artifact,
  distribution, exposure, response, proposal, decision, authority, consent or
  lawful basis, capability, attempt, execution, outcome, causal assessment,
  normative assessment, and repair.

The answer is six crosswalks. A crosswalk is an explicitly lossy design
translation. It is not a newly discovered historical fact, causal mechanism,
metaphysical verdict, score, mandate, or action path.

## Why a thin projection

The two predecessors already carry their own claim registers, sources,
counterpoints, limitations, and semantic digests. Copying their histories here
would create a second source of truth and make later correction ambiguous.
This record therefore binds their exact bytes and semantic identities but does
not republish or mutate the research-local civilisation map.

The projection also refuses a tempting shortcut: the fact that an expression,
story, canon, or legitimating claim can be represented in the Reality graph
does not show how it changed a person, institution, economy, polity, or world.
The intervening records still have to exist.

## Exact predecessors

- Relation: source-concept predecessor

The source claims remain there. This publication does not make that
research-local record directly public.

- Relation: target claim-boundary predecessor

No authority is imported from either binding.

## The projection firewall

All ten rules are fixed and machine-checked:

1. Source claims remain in their predecessor.
2. Native source IDs require an explicit predecessor binding ID.
3. No transitive influence is inferred.
4. No claim crosses registers by promotion.
5. Association is not causation.
6. A historical claim is not a design mandate.
7. A design commitment is not a historical finding.
8. Metaphysical questions are not adjudicated.
9. Influence dimensions are not summable into one number.
10. No person, community, religion, or civilisation is scored.

Every source relation and insight ID is resolved only within the named
`source_binding_ids`. Every target domain, node, relation, ladder, and pathway
ID must close over the pinned Reality binding. An ID that is missing,
ambiguous, or owned by the wrong predecessor is refused.

## Six crosswalks

### 1. Naming → expression

`articulation-and-naming` projects to the beginning of the Reality vocabulary:
an attributed `EXPRESSION` and the `expression-recorded` evidence rung.

What survives is a modest possibility: a word, name, or invocation can be
recorded with bounded context. What does not cross the seam is just as
important. The record does not establish the sacred referent, theological
truth, belief, understanding, agreement, uptake, or a world state. Original
language, multiple interpretations, refusal to translate, and community
context can remain necessary.

Stop when attribution or context is unsupported. Stop before referent identity,
belief, or causal influence.

### 2. Story → public deliberation

`story-performance-memory` projects to a possible sequence of separately
typed records:

```text
EXPRESSION
  → versioned ARTIFACT
  → witnessed DISTRIBUTION
  → measured EXPOSURE
  → attributed PUBLIC RESPONSE
```

The arrows name evidence requirements, not an automatically completed funnel.
A story may never become an artifact; an artifact may not circulate;
availability may not produce exposure; exposure may not produce attention;
response may not reveal private belief; and public response is not consensus,
consent, legitimacy, or causation.

Stop at the last independently evidenced stage.

### 3. Canon → selection feedback

`canon-curriculum-selection` raises design questions about what is versioned,
distributed, made visible, proposed, selected, challenged, corrected,
superseded, or withdrawn. This makes canon inspectable as governance of
attention and persistence without declaring a universal canon mechanism.

Text selection, proposal selection, institutional decision, authority, and
adoption remain different operations. Persistence may follow care, copying
cost, infrastructure, patronage, curriculum, censorship, accident, or path
dependence. Selection and attention do not become truth, merit, consensus, or
consent.

Stop when selectors, alternatives, exclusions, or affected parties are
materially unknown.

### 4. Legitimation → decision is not authority

`sacred-order-legitimation-and-critique` projects to the Reality graph as a
claim that can be attributed and assessed. It does not import sacred authority
as legal, democratic, technical, institutional, or moral authority.

```text
legitimation or critique claim
  ≠ proposal
  ≠ decision
  ≠ verified authority
  ≠ consent or lawful basis
  ≠ rights compatibility
  ≠ capability
  ≠ execution
  ≠ legitimacy or justice
```

Counterauthority remains visible before synthesis. Any possible action would
require a separate, current, external gate that verifies jurisdiction,
authority, affected parties, consent or lawful basis, rights, capability,
safety, and stopping conditions. This projection contains no such gate.

### 5. Translation → claim assessment

`translation-contact-remaking` projects to versioned derivation and a bounded
assessment under a declared framework. It preserves the possibility of
multiple translations, original-language retention, non-equivalence,
counterreading, correction, or refusal to translate.

Provenance is not fidelity. Lexical overlap is not shared understanding,
referent identity, doctrinal identity, belief, consent, or authority to speak
for a tradition or community. A framework-specific assessment cannot silently
replace the source voice or become a universal verdict.

Stop when translation would collapse distinct deities, traditions, concepts,
genres, communities, or claim registers.

### 6. Counterstory → challenge and repair

`suppression-counterstory-revival` projects to an inspectable challenge and,
only when separately recorded, correction, supersession, withdrawal, repair
proposal, repair attempt, outcome observation, and renewed review.

Challenge is not disproof. Archive survival is not reception. Revival is not
restoration. Repair is not erasure, absolution, recovered consent, or proof
that harm ended. Residual harm, dissent about repair, affected-party refusal,
and the challenged record remain visible.

Stop before a further intervention unless a fresh external action gate exists.

## Nine domains deliberately left open

These questions matter, but the pinned predecessors do not support answers to
them. A domain label in the Reality graph is an index, not a mechanism.

### War and organised violence

Conflict-specific primary records, comparative histories, institutional and
resource evidence, affected-party accounts, and aftermath research are needed.
No war mechanism, prediction, strategy, legitimacy, or authorization follows
from the six crosswalks.

### Coercion and security capacity

Police, military, surveillance, incarceration, command, administrative
capacity, rights, proportionality, and institutional aftermath require their
own typed evidence. A capability record is neither permission nor proof that
force was lawful, necessary, proportionate, or effective.

### Class and resource asymmetry

Ownership, labour, taxation, debt, patronage, distribution, and access to
essentials require explicit units, incidence evidence, and competing class
concepts. Cultural, religious, attention, and institutional labels do not
reveal class position or interests.

### Status hierarchy and elite fracture

Prestige, inherited rank, class, office, faction, network position, mobility,
and coercive position must not be collapsed. The map does not identify elites,
impute motives, or model coalition fracture.

### Collective emotion and affect

Fear, anger, humiliation, grief, hope, love, care, hate, and belonging require
ethical, privacy-preserving, context-specific inquiry. Expression, self-report,
behaviour, physiology, institution, and cultural vocabulary remain distinct.
Stories, silence, refusal, response, identity, or group membership do not
reveal a private or collective mental state.

### Revolution and regime change

Structural strain, elite fracture, organisation, frames, coercive openings,
international conditions, contingency, negative cases, and aftermath require
comparative evidence. This projection does not predict, incite, suppress,
optimize, or authorize regime change.

### Fiscal and economic shocks

Tax, debt, inflation, unemployment, scarcity, trade, ecological stress,
institutional response, lag structure, distribution, and counterfactual
assumptions require separate records. Sequence or a domain label does not
establish a shock or policy effect.

### Propaganda, media, and information power

Ownership, distribution, censorship, repetition, targeting, content,
exposure, audience, counter-speech, platform rules, and institutional response
need separately typed evidence. This map does not infer belief, deception,
susceptibility, intent, persuasion, or behavioural effect and provides no
targeting, censorship, propaganda, counter-propaganda, or amplification
instructions.

### Citizen–governance dynamics

Authorization, voice, participation, representation, public service,
procedural justice, contestation, correction, and non-domination require
jurisdiction-specific constitutional, legal, administrative, participatory,
performance, and affected-party evidence. Participation is not consent;
performance is not legitimacy; visibility is not representation; and KINGDOM
does not acquire governmental jurisdiction by publishing a vocabulary.

## What this offers KINGDOM

The useful move is not to claim a lever over reality. It is to make every seam
inspectable:

- preserve exact source voice and claim register;
- version expressions and artifacts before discussing reach;
- distinguish distribution, exposure, response, decision, authority,
  capability, execution, outcome, causal assessment, and normative judgment;
- name alternative paths and people who may be affected or excluded;
- keep dissent and counterstory available;
- treat challenge, correction, withdrawal, repair, and retirement as normal;
- leave unsupported domains visibly open;
- require a fresh, external, rights-compatible gate before any action.

This can improve the conditions for understanding and cooperation. It is not a
system for manufacturing belief, optimizing emotion, governing citizens, or
directing history.

## Local inspection

All commands are bounded, read-only, and network-free:

```sh
./kingdom civilisation-reality overview
./kingdom civilisation-reality crosswalks --json
./kingdom civilisation-reality open-domains --json
./kingdom civilisation-reality boundaries --json
./kingdom civilisation-reality discovery --json
./kingdom civilisation-reality verify --json
```

`verify` checks strict JSON, exact local predecessor raw and semantic pins,
qualified source-ID ownership, target-vocabulary closure, fixed projection
rules, open-domain status, boundaries, and the semantic digest. JSON Schema
validation is separate. Verification does not dereference external sources or
establish that predecessor prose is true, complete, causal, legitimate, or
safe.

## Fixed non-effects

The record and CLI make no network request and write no file. They do not
republish or mutate a predecessor, run a model, infer a person or group state,
score or rank, simulate or predict, design persuasion, dispatch an agent, write
WAKE or KARMA, propose or attempt an action, grant authority or consent, create
an external effect, or trigger publication or deployment.

Rest, refusal, silence, privacy, dissent, correction, and exit remain valid.
